Terry had been waiting for the perfect moment to unveil his secret. After they arrived at a secluded spot, he asked Anna if she would take off her necklace and hand it over. She was skeptical but nevertheless handed it back to the boyfriend.

Terry broke the necklace into two pieces with his pocket knife and gave the jewelry back to Anna. She was astounded by what Terry was doing at first.
